Featured on many magazine covers, fliers and more, the ink and watercolor art of William Robert Holland has brought him into the spotlight. Most visual artists in the Midwest are classically trained, and specialize in the more traditional methods. Holland has done nothing of the sort. Instead, he has taken tried and tested mediums and developed a style all his own, a style not only surreal, but often going against the very grain of the Midwest.
